It provides practical and helpful information based on the author's personal experience as well as tales and hints she has collected from numerous other travelers. It's well written, entertaining and a must read for unsophisticated shoppers like me who may be planning a trip and wanting to bring something back without being taken to the cleaners. Ms. Borrus tells you what to buy and where as well as how to get the best price. I already devoured my copy of her book and I was just logging on to order more copies to give to family and friends as going away presents.
